Topic: Publish doesn't work anymore! Posted: 20.Oct.2008 at 17:38 |
Once upon a time, my Dell Laptop was the only computer in the office that could actually use the "Publish" option on multiple layout tabs at once. None of the other 5 computers in the office could get Publish to work on multiple sheets.
Now, suddenly, I'm unable to use the Publish command on multiple sheets. I run AutoCad 2006, other computers in the office use some version of 2006, whether it be Architectural or Mechanical. Can someone help me out with this issue? Thanks! |

Thanks! I just re-attempted the multiple sheet publish.
If I do it the way that link outlines, it works for all sheets, If I'm going to my laserjet printer. But if I right click on any particular layout tab to use the publish option there, even if all my layouts show up in the publish window, it either doesn't work, or plots only the sheet that I clicked on to begin with. The wiki you posted also pointed out to me that the Publish option does not work with Adobe PDF. I use Bluebeam PDF, and I'm realizing that probably most of the time when I try the publish command, it's when I'm trying to go to PDF on a batch of drawings. What happens for me is that all the sheets will spool up in CAD, but then nothing will come out of the PDF printer. Any way to circumvent this? Thanks! |

Dunno about Bluebeam PDF - we use CutePDF - free and does what it says on the tin and doesn't print that it's been printed using a free piece of software, maybe try that? It will go to a file and then you can print the files with Adobe Reader..

Try to set the PUBLISHCOLLATE variable.
