Congrats Assemble Systems - New Forge Fund Investment
Â
We are pleased to welcome Assemble Systems to the Forge family. This is the fourth investment in a construction tech startup in five months. The startup, Assemble Systems Inc., allows builders to easily access 3D models, 2D drawings, and more data about their construction projects while on site.
The Reality Capture API supports aerial photogrammetry and enables the creation of 3D models — textured meshes, point clouds, or orthophotos from your drone, or hand-held camera photos. Accelerate the Scan to BIM process using cloud computing while integrating geo-location data.
The Model browser in the Forge Viewer has been improved to provide a more consistent and accurate appearance and manipulation experience. Object visibility is now explicitly indicated by the eye icon to the right of each element. Object selection behavior has changed.
Last week at Forge DevCon, we announced the alpha release of the AR/VR Toolkit. This kit provides documentation and step-by-step tutorials, to help you get started with AR/VR and Forge.
New samples include: Integrating BIM 360 data with PowerBI using R, Switching Viewables in the Forge Viewer, or Using Python to create a Forge Server/Client Web application; and more.
