Hi All,

I have joined this forum, looking for help, if somebody is willing.

I need a small aluminium plate (2mm thick) laser cut to accept two tubes inclined at 28 degrees to the plate perpendicular. (The cut-outs in the plate would therefore be elliptical in shape)

My local laser shop have asked that I supply them a .dxf file (or similar, which they will be able to use ....

....but I have no CAD software or experience. The task is quite simple, but I cannot produce the file they want.

Is there somebody on the forum who could do this for me, if I supply the required dimensional information of the rectangular plate, the OD of the tubes and their relative positioning and spacing within the plate ?

Many Thanks
Will

We need the dimensions (diameters of the tubes..)
Please post a 2d- or 3d-sketch of your problems.
Regards
Jochen

Something like this?
