Oh, sorry this comand it's just for arc. I'll recomned convert your ellips to polyline or arc, if it's possible and try command again, please.

Hi Collin,
You can't actually covert an ellipse to a polyline or arc. I would suggest just drawing a reference arc over your ellipse using snaps.
1. Type A, space to start the arc command.
2. using osnap nearest (shift right-click for osnap menu) select the first point of the arc on your ellipse.
3. pick the midpoint of the arc (osnap quadrant will give you the midpoint of the ellipse axis)
4. pick the end of the arc using osnap nearest again.
5. use arctext to create your text and then delete the arc.
Note: ellipses aren't very versitile objects given their limited use and the limited variables in their form.
