Civil 3D 2008 I am working with a file I inhirted from another company. I had to change some linetypes and spline a line. There is a plain line with a thickness and linetype and there is a spline on the same layer which I am unable to give a thickness. The previous post talked about thickness but when I click on the spline there is no thickness available. How can I can the thickness of the spline to match the plain line. I have tried any number of think like match properties, splinedit, etc. but nothing works. |

I personally have never used the civil version of Autocad, but if it is like Autocad Architecture 2009 then you you can change the line thickness by changing the layer. I hope this helps.

No, SPLINE has no thickness. You might use PLINE with Spline fit, or convert/explode the spline into line segments.

Thanks guys, Vladimir had the right answer. You can't give a thickness to a spline it must be converted. Thanks
