Hello, I was hoping someone could tell me where I might go to find a complete list of hatch patterns and what they are used for.
What I am looking for are the explanations of what the installed hatch patterns in autocad are used for.
such as ANSI 32 etc. some  are obvious and some are not
is there such a thing already done up that would say
use this one for wood, this one for steel, this one for this, this one for that???

I have tried everything and have gotten nowhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

DITZY

The default hatch patterns provided in AutoCAD are the most commonly used patterns. They have no single-purpose usage. Different industries/regions have different standards. Many users add their own patterns.
