Topic: LT 2010-files opened with LT 2017 leads to errorsPosted: 10.Feb.2022 at 13:01 |

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, i have two different computers (WinXP and Win11) with two different versions of ACAD LT (ACAD LT 2011 and ACAD LT 2017) . When transferring different .dwgs from one computer to the other i discovered a strange bug - arrows move slightly to the left in an specific angle, while the text-fields stay at their right places (as shown in the attached screenshot) . This occurs when saving .dwgs from the ACAD-LT-2011-computer in the ACAD-LT-2010-Version and then opening it with ACAD-LT-2017. But when saving it in the ACAD-LT-2007-Version (Origin: ACAD-LT-2011 again) and then opening it with ACAD-LT-2017 everything is fine. Vice-Versa the same problem occurs when saving in 2010-Version from ACAD-LT-2017 - in this case ACAD-LT-2011 produces the same error when opening the .dwg with just the opposite direction of the rotation-angle. Again everything is fine when saving as ACAD-LT-2007-Version (from origin ACAD-LT-2017) and opening it with ACAD-LT-2011. Is this a known bug and is there a solution?
thank you! |

Are both versions at their latest updates and hotfixes? Are the referred text fonts identical?

Hi Vladimir, thank you for your response. The fonts are identical. ACAD LT 2017 (N104.0.0) is fully updated and hotfixed but ACAD LT 2010 is running on a older version (E.49.0.0). I don't know if there even are any updates for ACAD LT 2010?!? |

Yes, there are.
The latest seems to be the "SP2" - see:
