Hi,

I'm having trouble with my version of AutoCad 2007.

This only started yesterday and i can't work out why.

When i select open or save, instead of bringing up a standard windows like 'window' where i can choose where to save etc all i get is a small panel at the cross hair on the work space telling me to type in where to save or what to open.

Therefore i cant search for where I want to open something or save it to and am really not sure why!

Can anyone help please!?

Cheers,
Dave

Variable  FILEDIA.
And if you want to use Command line and not the small field at the mouse poiter, press F12 (or the button DYN at the bottom of AutoCAD).
I'm sorry for my bad English. Kackac

Thanks for that but that's not exactly what i meant - i want the windows dialogue box to open up when i select open or save rather that just a command line - that way i can browse for files etc...

cheers!
