i was just wondering (i know this might be the wrong section to post in but..) how do u put the diameter sign in inventor parts list. If u guys tell me to open something please give me steps to open it...me and my instructor are trying to figure this out.. Confused

To do this I use this method: Look in windows "character map"(found under "accessories") and find out which numerical code your symbol has(lists of these can also be found on the internet). Once you know the code all you do is hold down the "Alt" key while at the same time type the four numbers of the code(use the number pad for this). So for the small diameter symbol (Ĺ™) it's: Alt+0248. Hope this helps. Smile

character map - found under accessories...what do you have to be in? border?part?assembly? i can't seem to find accessories
