First of all I want to explaine for what I need a lisp routine.

I have to make some drawings with different types of trees and to put some numbers over the block (or a simple circle) of the tree because at the end I have to make a big excel list with the numbers and the names of the trees coresponding to the number from the drawings.... Smile so what I want is ..... something that insert a number when I click with my mouse inside of a tree. But after first tree the numbering to go on with 2,3 until I stop the command or the lisp routine.
Maybe somebody have a lisp routine can help because it will take a lot of time to copy everytime the last number and to edit him with the new number.
Greetings

Maybe Express Tools function Automatic text numbering (command TCOUNT) will help you - insert only eg. number 1 onto all places and then via this function you will make series of numbers according to your ideas.

it's helpfull but I must have a text in every place where I want to insert these numbers so maybe is something else directly when I click inside one of these trees to put the numbers with the increment I want. ... thanks for your remark ... it verry good.

I cannot find a place on this site to upload these lisp programs. if you like to email me I will send them to you.  One strictly numbers while the other lisp uses either numbers or letters.  I use them for planning purposes of lot numbering or labeling landscape for a easy to read legends.  My email is msplcdykee69@yahoo.com and just put Lisp in the subject line.
