Hi all
I have a Creo PTC assembly model which I would like to export to be viewed on a website. It needs to be in a way that users do not need to create a login to a portal to view but can interact with the model by zooming and rotating about 3 axis. It would also need to be a read only file as the model is protected. Thanks in advance

My company is attempting a move from traditional 2D drawings to a more interactive 3D PDF. We have struggled to actually produce these documents despite having spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on equipment and software.

That’s a great question — sharing Creo models online without forcing users to log in can be tricky. One practical approach is to export the assembly as a lightweight 3D format like GLB or OBJ, then embed it in a simple web viewer using tools such as Three.js or Babylon.js. This way, people can rotate, zoom, and explore the model securely without accessing the source files.

It’s a classic case of how standard tools only go so far. Custom Solutions for Your Business Needs – off-the-shelf software rarely covers 100% of your workflows. Developers build tailored solutions that fit your processes exactly, giving you a competitive edge. You can Hire remote developers at Lemon.io who can help design a secure, interactive 3D viewer precisely for your setup.
