I have a quick question:

I have a dwg with a block in it (the title block). I need to change some of the text inside the block. The only way I know is to explode the block, edit the text and then select everything again and then make it a new block. Is this the best way? I am working in Autocad LT 2000.

Thanks,
Justin

Hey goyousalukis,
Click the block and then right click, select edit block in place. Change what you need to and then save the change.
Hope that helps,
nameci

If you are using 2007 and above  version of Autocad just double click the block and it would open in block editor and then save the block again.

Or
Use "REFEDIT" command and follow the instructions.
