I made our catalog libraries long ago and do not remember how I did them.  I need to add to them now and cannot for the life of me find how I did it.  I see how to make a palette by having the blocks in a drawing and selecting them through the Design Center and telling it to make a palette, but how do I get these palettes back into the Catalog Library?   Please help!

Can you actually do that? I would love to learn how to do that! I wish all my blocks could go into a library instead of having to search for them one by one.

One of my other Acad techies called me.  Make a drawing file with your blocks in them, mine was for existing trees which we use to replace surveyor symbols with as well as other site planning items.  Once you have this file made, open your Design Center for the drawing file which will list "Blocks" as the items in the drawing.  Double click on the Blocks and all of the blocks in the drawing should appear.  Select all or just some of the blocks in the list, once selected, right button click and select "Create Tool Palette".  By the way, you need to have your Tool Palettes box open.  THis will create a New Tool Palette from which you can drag and drop the blocks into any drawing in the future.  Now to add them to your Library in the Content Browser; open the Content Browser and go to the library you wish to add them to.  Select the blocks now showing in your tool palette by clicking on each while holding down the shift key.  Once all selected that you want, click and HOLD the right mouse button.  Drag this onto your content browser and it will now be loadable to any machine, such as ours which is on a server and I have to make and update them and load them everywhere for the users.  This worked for me and I am greatly relieved from having to try to read through the Help menu stuff.  Good luck, let me know if questions!
