1. select group assigned to surface -> RMB*->Props (Exclude tab) -> tick With elevations matching -> enter (<1) -> rebuild surface
or
2. select surface -> RMB* -> Props (definition tab) -> Build -> Exclude elevations less than -> to (yes) / Elevation < to (1)

*RMB - RhythM'n'Blues

I'll put my question in here, if that's ok?
I've made surface in C3D from points. Now i want to display only contour lines that are above 1m level in my case, at the moment i don't need the lower ones.
How can i do it, if it's possible?
thanx a lot :)

No, it didn't help. Same negative volumes in same rows (added two xls reports) notice that reusable volumes are negative as well:
alignment2sampleline1-volume report
alignment2sampleline2-volume report
I've made few more alignments, with different sample lines and luckily one of them gives positive volumes in all fill and cut rows, with approximately same cumulative numbers (plus these few previously negative), but anyway this is engineering and  it would be nice to know these calculations are logic and sustainable through out the project not just in one section LOL
I've got a feeling there must be something trivial like one missing tick somewhere or so...

try doing the volume report and compare it to the tables... if the volume generated in the volume report (sections menu>generate volume report) is positive instead of negative, then it should be the display... but if it is still negative, it think we really have a problem....

No, I'm talking about Total Volume tables, generated after making sections and computing materials (sections-> compute materials / sections -> add tables -> total volume or/and material volume), negative volume appears between the stations, in cut and fill columns, where only section area is multiplied by distance result should be:
click to see the picture 1 (-fill)
click to see the picture 2 (-cut)
click to see the picture 3 (ex. of section view)
In that case what should Negative Cut mean - a shortage for cut (i.e. dig deeper ? ;)

Thnks

are you talking about volume calculation report??? if your talking about that, it is probably the the cumulative volume column... if it had a negative sign, it means that you had a shortage of earth... you still need to borrow from outside sources... if it had a positive sign, it means you have a surplus of supplies...

Hi, everyone
I got two surfaces. Calculated cut / fill volume using sections.
Total volume table returns negative value, in few rows, both cut and fill (in separate rows) - see the picture

Section view in this particular station looks same as all the others 60 sections - see the picture

Formula in Cut column is obviously the same in all rows.
What may be the cause?
Thnx
