Hey All,
I have downloaded about 40 dynamic blocks. I am looking for feedback. How do people find my blocks? Any comments and/or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanking you in advance, nameci |

probably UPloaded...
Thanks for the blocks - they are very useful. Please make sure that you upload the real dynamic block - not the DWG drawing containing the dyn.block reference (it needs an additional EXPLODE) and that the reference (insertion) point of the block is somewhere inside the block geometry.

Hi Vladimir,
Thanks for the input. I thought all the dwg's of my blocks were the original drawings. Which ones weren't and do I need to re-send them? Also, the insertion point makes sence and I will make sure that from now on I will put the insertion point inside the blocks. Thanks, Jeff |

I have checked one of the trees (elevation?) and it was a DWG with an inserted dynamic block. It should be a DWG of the block itself. Use
WBLOCK to "extract" your dynamic block from the DWG you have created it in.
The reason behind this is that people can directly insert the block in their drawings (perhaps using iDrop) without any exploding.
