Hi chaps (and girlies) - I'm new here so bear with me. I have an AutoCad 2009 drawing that I would like protected against editing with a password but available to view only - anybody know how I go about this ? All assistance gratefully received

This is not possible using a plain AutoCAD and DWG. Either publish your drawings to the DWF/DWFx file format (easily viewable, not editable), or use an add-on application like CADVault (from CADlock).
