I am horrible with work planes!! can anyone recommend a site or tutorial besides the one in inventor that may help.

your best bet is to buy a tutorial book used ebay, craigslist, amazon or backpage

hi better use the help support within the Inventor. use select the plane command and press F1 ( for inventor help).then a new window will open , in the menu u select the play button, which shows the using of planes in movie format,...gooluck
