Currently have to print a massive amount of drawings (about 900 - A3's), info received from a client. All these drawings are in seperate folders. One folder one drawing.  Normally i would just all important it into a sheetset and print them all at once but i only know how to import drawings that are in the same folder and dont know if it can be done with multiple.

So im looking for a way to important drawings from multiple folders into sheetsets or a different shortcut to print a large amount of drawings.

Using AutoCAD 2009

Put all of the folders with the drawings in them into a new "COMMON" folder.

New COMMON folder
      Folder w/drawing
      Folder w/drawing
      Folder w/drawing
      Folder w/drawing
      Folder w/drawing

STEPS: (start at command prompt)

NEWSHEETSET <enter>

<select> Existing_drawings

<click> Next

Give a NAME to new sheetset

Select a location for new sheetset to be STORED

<click> Next

<click> Browse

Browse for your "COMMON" folder where you put all the other subfolders with there drawings.

You should now see all of the folders that contain all of the drawings.

<click> Next

<click> Finish

All of the folders that contain the drawings should show up as subsets now in your sheetset with the drawings for each in each subset.

To print all of them you need to have a "PAGESETUP" in at least one of them and now all you have to do is RIGHT-CLICK on the SHEETSET and PUBLISH.

Hope this helps!
