    Posted: 23.Oct.2007 at 23:05
Our Company just started using the 2008 Version - I am now unable to insert map images. Once I use the"mapiinsert" command or from the map menu - it will insert the image and once I try to zoom extents it will give me the following error message:

"Fatal Error: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 61b351d6h."

I go back to the 2007 version and it works fine? I have upgraded to SP1 and also installed 'raster_design_2008_oe.exe"

Looked on Autodesk help page with no success - Any suggestions?

Found a fix from Autodesk -

Somehow the previous version of the "AdImaging.dll" was corrupted or would not work with my configuration.

I have a new version of this file 17.1.219.2 which also can be requested from Autodesk. You just replace the old one which is found in your "C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Map 3D 2008" folder.

If you need a copy of this file please send me an email - j.moser@fehrandpeers.com
