Hi

I need to link some information to several diferent polylines in the same layer. I will use this information later on 3d max, so i need that the information can be imported on 3d max.

Example: Layer A contains 2 polylines. I want to name one polyline "01" and the other one "02". I don't need them to be numbered, i just need to be able to set the name i want.

I know i can change its color, but i'd prefer to use some text, because it's easier to identify when you've got a lot of polylines. And i don't want to create a block for each polyline, because finally i'd have a lot of blocks in the file

Do you think it is possible this way?

thank u

AutoCAD entities have no "names" (at least human readable names). You can use blocks, extended data, reactors or other ways to attach textual information to drawing entities. But you would need some add-on utility to display this data.
