Try using AutoCAD or Revit MEP software - both are very good tools for preparing tailor-made shop drawings and design documentation.

hey!!!!!!!! to solve your problem watch me>>>>>

revit MEP is good if you have!!!! but if you don't have revit software crash it!!!!!! if you use autocad just download @ google MECH-Q AUTOCAD 2008 SETUP(MQA2008D) it is add on. You know im also cad operator carrying heavy & difficult problem in case of plumbing & HVAC. I give you some hints to make easy & fastest working with your deserving company....

in fact i use autocad 2010..... to make easiest in times of 3d & rendering method. im friendly at all.........MY YM chupalok@yahoo.com.
