I have been trying to export a 3D CAD dwg to a 3D Studio (*.3ds) file. The CAD dwg is 6MB and the exported 3DS file is 216KB. Is this correct? it seems very small.

Thanks for you help

3ds sizing look way to far from cad original file. I think but maybe possible. Depend on your cad file maybe your cad file still have a lot of waste for sure. Use command PU in autocad before export the model out. Good luck.
