Hi folks;
I'm new to delving into Revit.  I've learned most of the basics, and I've created a custom wall type with a steel core, insulation, and interior/exterior finish.  I'm having difficulty with using this wall in a dimensioned plan.  When I try to dimension or align to gridlines, the only option available is the centerline.  I've already tried setting the wall 'Loc Line:' to "Core Face: Exterior" but that hasn't changed anything.  When I went back to it I was able to align outside face, inside face, or centerline.  But I still can't align to the structure of the wall.
Has anyone experienced this?
(I don't see a place to upload the file, but hopefully I've described the issue clearly)
Thanks in advance
