I was wondering if anyone out there could help me with the following issue.  When I receive survey drawings those are in meters.  In order to convert them in millilitres I would normally scale the survey drawing by 1000.  However I was told of a command that one could type and change the scale to millilitres (or any other scale unit) without the need to select all the survey drawing and multiplying that by the relevant scale factor.  Unfortunately I do not remember this command.  All I remember is that once you type this command, then you can select between various scales: 1 (I think "feet"), 2, 3, 4 (I think "millilitres"), 5, 6 (I think "meters") etc.  I hope this makes sense and I hope someone out there would know this command.

You are probably talking about the UNITS command. But it doesn't scale the drawing. Drawing units are just "thought" units - you will need real-world units only for plotting and dimensioning.
