Hey everyone, this is my first post on this forum so please be gentle with me. Smile

I am trying to create a block consisting of several lines and a colored part, for which i used gradient. The idea is that the block can change color depending on the layer it is changed into.

For example, the block is changed to a layer which is green, the entire block should become green, including the gradient. For the lines this works perfectly by keeping the color setting on 'ByLayer'. However, the gradient always stays in the same original color, and doesnt change like the rest of the block does.

Any ideas on how i can fix this? Or are there any other methods to color an area besides gradient that might behave better?
