Not sure what I did, but when I use to double click on text in a drawing it would allow me to edit.  Now it doesn't.  Can anyone tell me how to change it back to allow me to edit?

It could be this, go to toolbar menu and click on Tools, then in the pull down menu, look for Options, click on it, it will show you several tags, select the one call Selection, you will see Pick Box size, Grip Size, Selection Mode and so on, under Selection Mode click on Noun/verb selection and then click on Apply and OK, see if the feature you mentioned is working.
