if using Internet Explorer:

go to Options pull down, Advance tab - scroll down to Security section
unchek box - "Allow active content to run in files on my computer"

not really recomended for users with always on internet connection,
but has solved this issue for several others that I know of.
hope this helps.

Not only viruses can cause this problem; but more common is adware/spyware.  Would recommend in stalling AdAware SE and SpyBot Search & Destroy then scan your system.  If you don't have a good anti virus on your system (ie. Norton..more user friendly to use and update) you need to get one because most of the newer main antivirus programs scan for adware/spyware as well as viruses.

I only mention this cause I am not only a CAD person but I have several years as computer repair tech in a full time shop.

Also, it is not my intention to advertise for any of these producs, but I just know that this combo works well.
