    Posted: 01.Dec.2009 at 10:27

I've recently upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, and have found that since Windows 7 has been on my pc that certain commands of mine come up with an error:

'Exception in C:\...doslib18.arx ARX Command

Unhandled Exception C0000005 (Access Violation Reading 0x0020) at address BF74BC3h'

The commands this happens to are commands that open up different drawings and make certain changes (depending on the command obviously - ie. one specific command will freeze/unfreeze a predetermined layer on multiple drawings at once [when it works Tongue] - a command made in lisp)

Thought it may have made that folder/file read-only, but I have changed the folder to not be read-only through Windows Explorer...

Anyone else found this issue, or have any ideas?

Oh yeah, I'm using AutoCAD2010.

Greatly Appreciated,

JC

You may want to contact McNeel as this error is reported by DOSlib. Check also your access rights.

Vladimir,

Thanks for this.  I went to McNeel website and downloaded most recent doslib file, and it has fixed my problem.

Thanks again,

JC
