Hey guys I need to do some 3d modeling for a school project and for some reason the hide command isn't doing what I want it to do. All I want it to do is hide the lines so it doesn't look like a wire frame. However when I do this it seems to delete too many lines. Please help. Here is what happens...

Before I type Hide.

After I type Hide.

Why would it be doing this?
