Back in AutoCAD 2009 we introduced the Ribbon User Interface (UI) element which was first introduced in the Microsoft Office 2007 products and now in many software products on the market.
The change placed some on the fence as change is always something of a challenge for longtime veteran product users. Luckily Autodesk’s AutoCAD Team was smart enough to think ahead and allow you to choose the classic interface or the new ribbon interface. For those that have adjusted and become lovers of the ribbon you can share your or wear your enthusiasm like Autodesk customer Robin Capper did at Autodesk University 2009 with his “I love the Ribbon” tee-shirt. No he is selling I love the ribbon merchandise with any profits going to RobiNZ Blog Kiva Micro Fund Lending Team. Robins blog posting Want your own “Love the Ribbon”? Too bad it is after Christmas as these would have made great presents or stocking stuffers for that special AutoCAD Geek in your life or office. ;-) Cheers, Go to the original post... |
