One of those I know its there somewhere but damed if I can remember where issues.

Having had to reload 2009 (my fault) when I zoom + or zoom - there is a slight delay before a smooth transition to the new magnification, rather than the instant change that I prefer.   I have had and changed this before and seem to recall that it's an option rather than a variable, (I may be wrong). But I can't remember how.

Can anyone offer an insight?

Look under system variables in Help; there are 3 that start with "VT" for view transitions.

Thanks

VTOPTIONS brings up a dialogue box which must have been what I had been thinking of as an option rather than a variable text command
