Guys and gals...

I am tearing my hair out with a Paperspace problem! Please can someone help?!

I do all my drawing in modelspace (naturally) and my drawing template, anotations and dims are all done in paperspace. When I draw anotation arrows and dims over the drawings (which are in viewports), the arrows and dims and even the text appears behind the drawings!

I have searched the help files, checked the options, tried bringing the dims "to front" but nothing works.

Can anyone help??

Thanks in advance,

Andy (going rapidly bald...) Confused

EDIT: BTW, its AutoCAD 2009 that i am using.

I have had a problem like this when printing to a PDF and my objects in paperspace are under my model space objects, there is an option when printing to check the box that says "print paperspace obejects last", try that at first to see if it helps with the order of objects. Also if you have selected all the items in paperspace and place them in the order as "bring to front" and that does not work then try the opposite and place the other objects as order of "send to back" then if that doesnt help then right click on the viewport and select draw order form there and send the viewport to back. If that doesnt help then not sure...

Many thanks Melody.

I discovered the answer yesterday and is was the "print paperspace objects last" that was unchecked.

It is so frustrating because I thought it was going to be far more complicated!

Thanks for the reply though Smile

Andy
