Using autocad 06.

I'll run through the steps I used to do this, maybe someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

First, I created a new dimension style, made everything by layer and only adjusted sizing. Typed in command "DL", picked a leader spot, entered in text... then the next prompt says "dim:", so I just hit enter twice and escape. Now I have what I wanted to make... except it's exploded (you have text, then a line, then an arrow - all seperated).

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong???

Exploded dimensions controlled by DIMASSOC, so set this to 1 (non-asociative) or 2 (associative).

Thank you for the quick response. The problem is, the qleader command works fine, except the lines and arrowhead are not connected with each other. They appear to be exploded.

Are you useing the "qleader" command or "DL".  i don't recognize DL, perhaps it is a custom lisp that runs qleader then explodes it.

DL is my shortie for qleader. Sorry. Qleader seems to be exploded. Can't figure out why...
