Hello,
I didn't find related posts; any help welcome!

when typing in ACAD 2008, it seems the cursor comes back for one caracter;
ex.:
when typing "0.04", appears 0.0, then the cursor goes back and puts the 4 befor the last zero; the input results as 0.40...

this is happening frequently enoough to become really frustrating.
Has anyone experienced such a problem, and is there a solution?

Thanks!
Have a nice day!

Check properties, sure you want two decimal places.

Seems you're getting rounded down to one decimal place.

Set your dimension round off to your two decimals.

Thanks for answering,
unfortunately that is not the problem;
i had to mention better that the distance ACAD takes into account is 0.40 and not 0.4; and that if i look at it, he the cursor just really jumps back and when i hit the "4" in the same example it just puts it before the zero i previously typed... ...

i'm wondering if this is a typical case of haunted Autocad version... i didn't mentioned neither that it's only on my laptop i have this problem; i first thought it could be my wrist touching the trackpad but the trackpad is disabled...
