I was somewhat torn. For a while people have been asking me to make a Project Twitch video. I knew I could do that, but all it would show would be our design applications running in a window. Using Project Twitch they act and respond as if they are installed on your own machine. So I thought I would create a video showing how the install happens and then show a bit of AutoCAD running thereafter. YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8k1b_YzRWo Some of you have lamented that Project Twitch is Windows only. We appreciate this feedback. At this point in the technology preview, the client piece (which you see being installed in the video) is Windows only. We wanted to see what people thought of the internet latency before we went crazy and developed clients for additional platforms. If you had hated it, there would have been no need to go any further. We hope to investigate other platforms in the future. Project Twitch is geared towards easy "trials of our applications" so having a Windows system at your disposal is often key to continuing your work after the trial. Uttering "Lights, camera, action" is alive in the lab. Go to the original post... |
