Many suppliers of electrotechnical components present on theyre website CAD models  but sometimes only as (3D) STP format;
Is somebody familiar with a (free) converter to change this to DWG or DXF?

My suggestion, since you apprently dont have a 3D program, would be to break out google and start searchin!
