I am trying to set my "Standard" text font as Architect (TTF) but as soon as I reload the drawing it reverts back to simplex.  I've altered my .dwt but it makes no difference.  It also does the same thing when I try it on drawings sent to me.  Any help would be gratefully received

Thanks

Where might the font file be stored?

I believe you need to store the font file in Windows fonts file.

Try it if you haven't already.  Sleepy

The font is in my autocad fonts directory and Windows fonts and both paths are in my support file search paths.
C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2007\fonts
C:\WINDOWS\Fonts

I'm guessing you used STYLE, selected the text, and set to STANDARD?

Of course, the *.dwt file would have to be saved.

I've saved the .dwt and another imported file hasn't got it's .dwt but I keep saving the settings.  The ttf is in AutoCAD fonts and also Windows fonts.  Both paths are in the startup profile.  All to no avail!!  I'm sure this is pilot error on my part but ........
