I (we) am/are running into a few instances where 2010 Civil 3D will not open Land Desktop 2005 Drawings. Upon opening, an error will display to ask you to recover the drawing. When trying to recover the drawing, two error messages will appear either a "Fatal Error Civil 3D out of Memory" or "Unhandled Access Violation". Then CIVIL 3D just shuts down or just goes to "not responding" in the task manager.  There is no issue with the memory. The computers that are running the software exceed the minimum requirements.
