I have searched the internet for a while on this one and I still can't seem to find an answer.

First  little background.  I currently use excel for a lot of other project related tasks.  I have written code into excel that executes when a save command is done, and it sends an email to all needed people so they are aware of the changes.

What I would like to do is to integrate that same functionality in CAD.  I am using 2008 LT, but others will be using other variations including electrical.  I created a data link to look at the excel sheet, and created a table that looks at my data link.  If I manually do a DATALINKUPDATE and write to the source I get what I am looking for.  The trick that I can't figure out is how to make that happen every time the drawing is saved.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.  I am stumped on this one.
