Sergio Durán Rojas is one of our active Autodesk Labs users. He has evaluated the technology preview of the Feature Recognition for Inventor. Sergio is a Mechanical Engineer with high knowledge in software CAD, CAM, CAE and PDM. He is able to use this knowledge to teach Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD training courses, Basic and Advanced Modeling, Manufacturing, and Mechanica with Pro/ENGINEER. Sergio has been working for an Autodesk Value Added Reseller (VAR) and Authorized Training Center (ATC) called IngenierÃa Asistida por Computador (IAC) since 2007. He was hired as an Application Engineer and Autodesk ATC Instructor. In addition to teaching Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD training courses, he participates actively in establishing implementation methodologies to allow Autodesk customers to achieve excellent data management solutions with Autodesk Vault. He has also worked with Autodesk Alias Studio, Autodesk Showcase, and Autodesk Navisworks. Sergio earned his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from EAFIT University – MedellÃn, Antioquia, Colombia. He is considering graduate studies to deepen his knowledge in an area he finds most enjoyable in his career, the topic of his graduation project, Computational Aided Engineering (CAE), specifically, Finite Element Analysis. He hopes to begin his Master's program called Computational Mechanics in the near future. Autodesk Labs is grateful to users who spend their time learning and trying our technology previews while providing feedback on how we can improve them. His participation with Autodesk Labs keeps him abreast of new technologies that he can share in the classroom. Thanks Sergio.
