Hi,
i wonder if anyone can help me with this.
i use auto cad 2006 to make drawings of office furniture which are mainly in 2D plan view giving measurements for c.n.c. machines to cut out different shapes of desks.
to give dimensions on the dwg. i use a lisp  programme called Spot.
it is very easy to use and neat and tidy allowing you put many dimensions on a dwg. without it becoming too busy and cluttered .

the trouble is that now i have a new computer which runs on Vista instead of XP i cannot get the spot programme to work in 2006.

any solutions to this would be gratefully received .

AutoCAD 2006 is not compatible with Windows Vista - you will need at least version 2007 with sp2.

you can run Autcad 2006 in Vista

you right click the short cut on your desktop and under properties click check the button that says to run the programme as administrator and near the top the is a button that allows you to run the prog. as XP service pack 2.
