You say it only happens in certain drawings?
Do any other users experience problems with these drawings?

Run an AUDIT on the drawings that are causing problems. Also, AUDIT all xrefs that are attached to these drawings.

If Audit doesn't fix the problem, try doing a clean re-install of Autocad? http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=2887771&linkID=9240617

Thank you very much for your instant replay, i tried by auditing the drawing as well all images but it was not usefull, according to audit log it was removed one error (i.e. 7d06-einvalid input was removed) even after auditing i have recieved same error.

yes i had a similar problem with other system also which comprises same hardware configuration and WIN-7 with autcad map 2010 in only one perticular dwg.
the dwg size is almost 3mb consist of more images, all the images can be loaded succesfully and can be work around when he click on the plot preview within a minute he will get same sort of error.

I unable to make out what is the causes of these dwg.

You might try this to make more memory avilable for applications in win7:

1. Open command prompt. (RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR)
2. Type the following text:   bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVA 3072
3. Restart computer.

Worked very well at my computer

Do you have the latest drivers loaded for your plotter?

No, i have loaded that same old driver only, i am getting problem for some certain drawings not for all, except those files we can plot other files so i speculated there is no problem with driver.

thanks for the reply.

But you upgraded his system to Win 7. You can't expect your old plotter drivers to still work with the new operating system. Try loading new drivers. There may be an issue regarding the plotting of images that the new drivers could fix.
