I'm having problems printing images from Civil3D 2011. I can see them on the screen and when I do a print preview but once I send to plot the images don't show up. I thought it was the printer so I started sending them to PDF but it does the same thing. Please help, I got a lot of maps in limbo needing to print. Thanks

***Sometime people want to put a bitmap (an image, a text document or an Excel spreadsheet) in the middle of their drawing or next to their CAD diagram.
These documents are linked to the CAD drawing: on the screen, they look like one.
In that case, they are OLE objects.  OLE = Object Linking and Embedding.

AutoCAD - as many others - has/had a lot of problems in printing mixed documents (OLE objects+vectors), as bitmaps and vectors use different languages.

This is because the AutoCAD print driver can only print the AutoCAD diagram and it does not work fine with other programs

Do you experience this problem with all mixed files?
If yes, you need a printer driver that can interpret and print OLE objects from inside CAD files.
We have it, a Third Party product:
This tool is a system printer driver that prints OLE objects from inside AutoCAD files, so it will print everything just like it appears on screen.
And it's recommended from HP, Autodesk and many Others and work great with all CAD Applications and Corel Draw, Power Point, Micrografx Designer, EXCELL, Lotus, Word and all vectorial-oriented Windows applications, under W95, W98, WME, NT 4.0, W2000, WinXP, Win VISTA& Win 7 32/64.
