I want to upgrade my GC.  I have read alot about the workstation cards and found that the ATI's have better performance for the buck rather than the Nvidia quadro's.  I have narrowed down the 2 newest cards that I can affort as the FirePro V4800 and the FirePro V5800.  The V4800 seems to be quite exceptional for the cost but does not allow crossfire capabilites.  The V5800 is twice the cost and has twice the stream processors (400 up to 800) and larger memory bandwidth (24.4GB/sec to 64GB/sec).
So...since I can't crossfire the V4800, is using 2 of them going to be any better than a single V5800?  I have dual monitors.  One is larger and is the main one I use for working while the smaller is used for emails/tutorials/etc.  Since there is a nearly $200 difference in cost between the 2, I am not sure which is best for my use.  Can anyone add some light to this?  Thanks in advance.
