What version of Autocad are you running?
Do you have all service packs installed?
Have you tried running a Repair?

What operating system are you running?
Does your computer meet the minimum system requirements for your version of Autocad?
What are your computer specs?

It didn't happen with save as option.
It happenned mostly with drawings with hatch paterns (I guess).

Such drawings, after i opened, i uassualyy got the following texts at the command:
DO YOU REALLY WANT TO DO THIS? <N>

I hit ENTER, then got the message:

EVERYTHING HAS BEEN UNDONE
YES or NO PLEASE?

I have to hit ENTER or Esc several times until i get the COMMAND: back

After working through with the drawing, i saved first then when i close the drawing, i got the FATAL ERROR (Sometime NOT).

Thank you very much for your advises...
