For those attending my AutoCAD for Mac hands on Lab sessions next week. You do not need to print the Lab session handouts as they will be printed for you and available at the session. At Autodesk University 2010 class handouts are not being printed, but lab handouts will be.

A nice idea if you have a smartphone with PDF support is to store your handouts and AU details on the device. Call me over prepared or a compulsive data hoarder but I will have my handouts and AU documents accessible on my IPad and iPhone using four methods using AutoCAD WS, Dropbox, GoodReader, Evernote and also iBooks.

I admit I am slightly intimidated with attendees from several big names like Apple, HOK, HMC, Gehry Partners, Gensler, Harvard, Stanford, Target, Universal Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering enrolled for the lab sessions. Luckily I will be assisted buy some great Lab Assistants.

Bud Schroeder Autodesk Senior Test Engineer will also be in Labs when possible.

We will have some Apple goodies to give out as well as Rick Graham is giving a “Mastering AutoCAD for Mac” book away in each session.

All AutoCAD for Mac labs are booked solid and everyone will be using their own Apple Mac hardware for the labs.Unfortunately I will not be able to give each attendee a MacBook to keep, I tried. Winking smile

Am I the only one thinking 1 hour for a lab or class is way too little time?

Only a few days until Autodesk University, I look forward to seeing you there.
