Does anyone know of any software where we can post a CAD file (DWG) etc out onto the Web for viewing and retain its measuring capability. I know that Adobe are providing a solution but its painfully slow to get information and software from them. Has anyone come across anything else out there that would support this.

The files would be large DWG or Tiff files based on planning A0 colour drawings so ideally we need to compress these down and post out for web viewing with a measuring tool ability?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

 Welcome to CADFORUM.

I think you should use post it  as DWF Format.

DWF is the right solution for this - with AutoCAD you can publish any DWG file to DWF and place it inside a web page. The free "Autodesk Design Review" utility can display, measure and markup the DWF files.
