Hi,

I'm getting ready to start my final semester of design school and I am interested in looking at ways to convert old retired military aircraft carriers into hotels.  I am hoping I can get CAD drawings of any military aircraft carrier to help me understand the space and to build my design off of.  Does anyone know if it's possible to get something like this?  If so where can I find it.  I'm willing to pay for the files as long as their not to expensive.

Thanks for any help,

Me

Interesting Idea. I'm not sure you'll have much luck, as the blueprints for the old AC carriers were probably drawn freehand and decommissioned AC carriers are scrapped and turned into razor blades.

But, there's no harm in googling it. Probably best to add "DWG" or "CAD" to your search term.

Good Luck!!

Quite frankly, working for a former military equipment supplier, your gonna be hard pressed, extremely so, in finding actual CAD files...for the same reason HAW said. Another reason is there plain and simply classified. And, whos to say your not some damn terrorist trying to plot somthing? LOL just sayin...
