I'm currently using Cad LT 2007 and need to convert some shape (.SHX) files into my LT drawing. How can I do this? |

This is from my AutoCAD 2009help file, you may want to check your AutoCAD 2007 LT help file to verify this information is correct:
In your help file, on the Index Tab, type: shape definition files Does this help? Edited by HAWDesigner - 14.Jan.2011 at 15:20 |

How doesn't it work-did you get an error message?
Do you know that this is an AutoCAD-compioled .shx file and not an ESRI shapefile? They both have an 'shx' extension. Plain AutoCAD (LT or full)can't read ESRI shx files.
