Hola, Wondering if I can stretch a 3D solid, with the results the same as if I did a 2D stretch? Is there a command or technique for this? Part is too complex to do a 'move face' command

Yeah there are some options...
you can select the object and than you have some triangles at the side of the object... you can pull them. you can also do this with the square's
Or you can use Extrude faces... You could find them at solid editing not at modeling.
And you can use presspull... You could find them at modeling.

Yeah those tools work, but I wanted to find an easier route...ya know, just sweep select whatcha want and then streeeetch it out. Thanks for the help though!

LOL...yes, tulip, unfortunately you are SOL here. What rikky is explaining is close, but it sounds to me like you want more advanced features that Vanilla AutoCAD (VACAD) don't have.

You betcha...like inventor...poor me, LOL. At my last job we used it extensively for anything 3D....this job....well....they prefer autocad because (i think) that they just dont want to bother getting over the learning curve, despite the benefits. frustrating, because its installed and ready..they just keep telling me to learn acad, lol.

I know how you feel. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one here who has progressed into the 21st century. It is definitely frustrating, but you just have to make the best out of what you have.
